Things I’m Thankful for this Thanksgiving

  1. As always, I’m thankful for my wonderful wife & family and their love.  If I had nothing else they alone would make me a most fortunate man.
  2. I’m thankful that our son married a wonderful young woman earlier this year and given us a new daughter.
  3. I’m thankful that the same son is transitioning into a new job with even more opportunity for him to do what he loves.
  4. I’m thankful that my youngest son has found an honorable pursuit (journalism) he truly loves and seems headed for a promising career.
  5. I’m thankful that our daughter is home for awhile as she plans to further her education starting next fall.
  6. I’m thankful for our continued good health and safety.
  7. I’m thankful for those who’ve survived the recent horrible attacks in Pittsburgh, Louisville and California and the awful fires in California and for those who responded to help.
  8. I’m thankful for the intriguing and challenging assignments that our clients entrust us with and hope we continue to be fortunate enough to do what we love doing.
  9. I’m thankful that I still get excited each time we are retained to provide professional appraisal, consulting or brokerage services and that our clients demonstrate confidence in us.
  10. I’m for my friends, old and new, with whom I laugh, eat, drink a little, play golf and share life’s experiences.
  11. I’m thankful for the ability to be active, play golf, exercise and compete.
  12. I’m thankful that my short game and putting are showing signs of returning to its rightful owner.
  13. I’m thankful that our democracy works and that we live in a country with appropriate checks and balances.
  14. I’m thankful that I still get to go to Penn State football games and relive my college days, sometimes with my classmates.
  15. I’m thankful that this Thanksgiving, the extended weather forecast calls for comfortable conditions so we can hopefully get some golf in.
  16. I’m thankful for our 3 dogs, even though they make too much noise, crowd the bed every night and don’t leave me much room.
  17. I’m thankful for my 62 degree wedge which allows me to hit shots I never could before.
  18. I’m thankful for my wife’s AWESOME cooking, even though it disrupts my constant battle with a bulging waistline.
  19. I’m thankful for the opportunity to learn something new every day.
  20. I’m thankful to be able to work with great people.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL!
