While my blog usually isn’t about me or our company, I have a few things I’d like to share:
- We’ve redeveloped our website and freshened the look. In addition to updating the look of the site, we’ve added more flexible search functions and most notably, a secure client portal that can be set up with each client to upload their documents and information during the course of an assignment. Not only will this avoid the problem of oversized emails but also ensure the security and confidentiality of client information. The website can be accessed at the same address (www.golfprop.com) with all the features of before, including the BLOG, newsletter and information about our firm, in addition to some drone photography of golf courses by yours truly.
- Golf Property Analysts will soon have a location in NE Florida which will enable us to serve even more effectively our clients in the Southeastern US and Florida.
- I was recently invited by PA State Senator Greg Rothman, a fellow MAI to consider serving on the Pennsylvania State Board of Certified Real Estate Appraisers. Upon learning more about it, I accepted and was nominated by Governor Shapiro and confirmed by the State Senate to serve as one of the professional members of the board. I look forward to this unique opportunity to serve the profession I’ve practiced my entire adult life and hopefully contribute to improving the practice of real estate valuation.
- Since we’re doing a little bragging – Last week, my son, Jack made a Double Eagle 2 (aka, Albatross) on the par 5 8th hole at Newton Commonwealth (MA) Golf Club. For those unfamiliar with this feat, the odds of an average golfer making a hole in one (usually on a par 3) are approximately 12,500:1, or about one every 3,000 rounds of golf. The odds of making an Albatross are estimated as anywhere from one in a million to one in 6 million. Dad’s never made an albatross.
As you can see, there’s always lots going on at Golf Property Analysts and we’re eager to help you with your golf property issues. Whether valuations for real estate tax assessments, tax status conversions, financing, acquisitions or dispositions, along with consulting and expert brokerage marketing services, we have the experience and credibility to get it done right.
